The Sin of the entire world has been eradicated!

“The next day John (the Baptist) saw Jesus approaching him, and declared: “Behold the Lamb of God; this is the one who will lift the sin of the cosmos like an anchor from the sea floor, for humanity to sail free!” (John 1:29)

What is the sin John was talking about? John didn’t say sins of the world would be lifted but said the sin (singular) would be lifted. What sin? If we view sin in this scripture as any behavior, then by all accounts John was wrong and Jesus did not conquer Sin and Death. John wasn’t talking about a behavior or action, John was talking about the veil caused by the wrong belief started back in the Garden of Pleasure commonly referred to as the Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve took bad advice and ate from the tree of good and evil, as a result the curtain closed and man believed they needed to do something to be accepted by God. However, God has accepted and loved them from the very beginning of time. The veil of wrong belief became heavier and heavier, to the point where man began to punish others for not living up to what they thought God wanted. What God wanted was for all to be free from the beginning. As a result of filtering life through the veil of deception, all sorts of misguided teachings, and judgments arose as a result of trying to prove they were good enough for His communion. Before the cross, Jesus declares “if you have seen me then you have seen the Father”. After the cross, true intimacy began through Gods love being poured out and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We now know Jesus, and if you know Jesus, you know the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Many people teach that Jesus is our protector from an angry God, or they teach that God only likes us because He sees us through the blood of Jesus. Jesus said, “My I am-ness (mirrored in you) is your way; this is your truth and also your life! Every single person can now come face to face with the Father entirely because of my doing.” If you had known me for who I really am, you would have immediately recognized my Father in me. Now, with me bringing you back face to face with the Father, you will certainly know him and become fully acquainted with him. Phillip said to him (as many do today) , “Lord, show us the Father, then we will be satisfied.” Phillip, I have been with you for a long time, and yet you haven’t really known me? TO SEE ME IS TO SEE THE FATHER! How can you still say, “Show us the Father?” Are you not convinced that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me? We are in seamless union. The words that I speak to you are not my independent opinion or ideas; the Father in me addresses you; this conversation then translates into the Father’s action unveiled in my doing. The fact that the Father seems distant or invisible to you does not mean that he is absent. In me he is very present with you! You cannot claim to know me while you ignore him -we are inseparable. Humanity, I dare you (plural) to believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me – if it seems far-fetched, then believe me because of what I have done and what I am about to do. It is the Father in me who defines me. My works exhibit his resolve. I want you to be fully convinced about this, anyone whose belief concludes in who I am will also do the works I do. And because of my going to my Father the works that the believer will do will be of greater proportion and of global influence; the Father is as present in you as he is in me because of my going to do what I am about to do. And whatever you desire in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the son. Your son-ship is endorsed in my son-ship. If you ask me anything, in knowing what my name entitles you to, that will I perform.” (John 14:7-14)

“Jesus did not come to persuade the Father about us, he came to persuade us about the Father. There is nothing in the incarnate Word that is in conflict with who God is! John 1: 1-3 If you underestimate me, you underestimate my father -and you underestimate you!” -Francois du Toit taken from commentary of John 14:11 in the Mirror Translation.

Jesus is our savior from the consequence of all wrong beliefs. “Now the decisive conclusion is this: in Christ, every bit of condemning evidence against us is cancelled. The law of the Spirit is the liberating force of life in Christ. This leaves me with no further obligation to the law of sin and death. Spirit has superseded the sin enslaved senses as the principle law of our lives. The law failed to be anything more than an instruction manual; it had no power to deliver us from the strong influence of sin (wrong belief) holding us hostage in our own bodies. God disguised himself in his son in this very domain where sin (wrong belief) ruled us, in flesh. The body he lived and conquered in was no different to ours. Thus sin’s (wrong belief) authority in the human body was condemned. (Romans 8:1-3)

Wrong belief is the root cause of self-righteousness. This wrong belief promotes preaching and teaching where God only saves some, and tortures others. It defies even the meaning of the word Gospel. Which means too good to be true news! The Gospel is real, and Jesus is real. He brought his brides back home, back into the Garden of Pleasure. Where we are able to live free in His grace and mercy. Only wrong belief keeps us from the light of the world, but in death all will rejoice in His supernatural Love. Every tongue will praise in reverence of the Trinity’s amazing grace. The life we live is the result of what we believe not what we do. The truth about Jesus is what has set all humanity free. God has loved all of mankind from the foundation of the world and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the evidence of this love. The Spirit is our friend, encourager, and companion. He will always remind us that we already have the greatest comfort food in the world, Jesus Christ.

“The grace of God shines as bright as day making the salvation of humankind undeniably visible.” (Titus 2:11) God’s unmerited favor and kindness has burst upon us in the revelation of who Jesus is, and who we are and always have been. We are all children of the Most High. We are all His perfect creation. We are all the bride of Christ. We all come from His others focused love. We are the reason the angels are rejoicing. They are happy to have us home, back in the Garden of Pleasure for now and eternity.

The veil, caused from wrong belief, was lifted at the cross. Destroyed in his resurrection and His love is the power that fills Katy and I with the desire to share inclusion of all mankind into the truth of Jesus. “In this abiding you will fully know the truth about who you are and this knowing will be your freedom.” (John 8:32) The sin of the world has been eradicated and all have been reconciled to his family. For Jesus is the way, the truth, and life for the entire cosmos.

Everyone is an heir to the kingdom, no one is excluded from being a part of the royal family. We have all been set free to live an enjoy life and live life with an abundance of peace and joy. His love has given us His glory. No man, weapon, or crazy thought will keep us from our destiny as children. The enemy has been defeated and now we are able to sing Hallelujah’s with reverence for a God who loves us without conditions and favors us without limits.

Thank you Lord for continuing to open our eyes of understanding and showing us your light that cannot be denied. Thank you God for giving us ears to hear the too good to be true news of Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit for lifting us with encouragement of the Gospel, and reminding us of the love of the Father. Thank you Lord for never leaving or forsaking us and blessing us with the riches of the Gospel. We praise you in the awe of your supernatural love.

In Blessings,

Kurt and Katy

    1. In this blog we only used Mirror Translation. We stumbled onto it this year and love it! It is not the complete bible and has been in the works for last 25 years. It contains most of New Testament, and the Gospel of John. It also has incredible commentary explaining words originally used and what they actual meant.
